Glad to know you overcome Sadie´s problem with GL. I am going to try it again with Mickey doing the trainning you did. I hope it also works and he starts to accept the Gl. I wish so much he could wear it without being so stressed and trying to remove it all the time.

I don´t think StarMark is a good idea. Shelties are very sensitive and can get easily traumatized if not handled properly. StarMark seens very agressive for a sheltie, I don´t think it will be necessary. I like to work with round nylon regular collars, Gentle Leader (only if necessary) and Easy...

I am so sorry to hear you are having problems with your sheltie. :( I also think an every day dog walker could be a good idea. If she gets tired enough she won´t chew so much and it might also release some of her anxiety. How old is she? Mickey was a huge chewer till 1 year and 3 months old...

I also had problems with Mickey and the GL. He gets very stressed when wearing it and tries to pull it out all the time. I gave up and moved to Easy walk harness. Its working fine and stopped him from pulling the leash but it doesn´t correct behavior problems. I heard that "GL traumas" and dogs...

He is 1 year and 9 months old now. He is a sweety but loves to bark at other dogs when on leash and doesn´t like other non-spayed males. On the other hand he is also very obedient, just got promoted to advance classes of obedience and loves to practice agility.
