Crouton is my 9 y/o blue merle, and my first dog (college). She's very in tune with me, when I'm sad she'll lay her head on my neck. She's not super snuggly with me or very friendly to dogs and strangers (unless they have snacks, then she's a great gold digger who'll act so cute, push out her fuzzy chest, take the snack, and run away shouting "NO LOVE FOR YOU!"). She likes to sit and silently judge me when she's unhappy (she learned it from my mom). I try to accommodate her, but sometimes when I'm lazy and don't have an activity planned for her, she'll use her eyes to tell me if I weren't holding her back she'd already be the CEO of her own multi-million dollar start up company
