Yep, the links are to the ones we're waiting for, they are not the breeder offering the non-AKC pups. I guess I brought them into the picture rather poorly. Probably should have started another thread discussing them. Apologies for the confusion....

Thinking we may have to pass on these guys. After considering the information/comments offered by all....you have confirmed my gut feeling that something doesn't feel right. Pups were 8-weeks yesterday, which puts the pups whelped on 26 June, not July...backup another ~60 days puts the Sire...

I'm planning to look at two sables this week and they are offered under this special circumstance: We have no plans to show, breed, etc.....does the above seem reasonable? They're priced to cover breeder costs.

Waiting on our first pup to arrive....the litter is about 3 weeks old now, excitement is growing for all. Been years since we had a dog in the house....been feline for the last 15 yrs. Plan to clicker train.....working on getting a fence installed at the moment. Chuck
