Sorry for resurrecting this thread... I just wanted to say that Gus has been on the Trental for about 3 years ..he has not had any negative side effects from this drug and he went from having lost most of the hair on his face, and spots all over his body , and having open oozy wounds around...

I think it is so sad that Sara doesn't get to do therapy anymore.. I also would have thought that it would be a great way to educate people. It used to make me cry when people would look at Gus with disgust...then i realized that they were the ones missing out on the most amazing little guy...
