Welcome and hello from Minnesota. I use to live in Indianapolis and really miss it. I moved to MN to care for my elderly Mother. I have a Tri-Sheltie named Hunter and two rescue cats. I am sure you will like this forum--a lot of good information and nice people.

Senses They are very sensitive. Hunter would know my car from a block away. He also knows when a dog is walking 1/2 block from the house. When the pressure changes with the weather, he is very restless. They have a sense we do not have.

I would give her a rinse of warm water every time she got into the water. I would not take a chance on drying the coat or any skin problems it may cause. Your vet may have a shampoo or rinse to help remove the salt water. Good Luck!
