I know that dogs do this to mask their scent. It's some sort of inbred thing to ward off other animals. But, I don't know why your dog would just start. I can say that my puppy did this a couple weeks ago. No idea what kind of poo it was but down she went, spread it on the side of her face and...

I had someone ask if she was a chihuahua when she was smaller! Mostly I get asked if she is a mini-lassie. I am surprised at how many people actually know that she is a sheltie though! :)

I got my puppy from a childhood friend who bred her sheltie dogs. (backyard breeder). I was glad to give her a good home. I kind of feel like I rescued her. :smile2: Tammy

Hello Everyone! I'm from western NY, between Rochester and Buffalo. We have a baby sheltie who is 12 weeks old today. I got her from a friend who breeds. She is named Luna and boy is she a scamp! :lol: So far though, she walks well on the leash and sometimes knows to go potty outside. (still...
