    Seminar for Multi-dog Homes

Loved the article on the first link. I agree with everything she said, although it's hard not to pat them when they're sleeping :) I'm also looking forward to hearing how you liked the seminar.

A chance to get a treadmill

Made me laugh. Your dogs sound like a lot of fun. I guess I'll dust off my treadmill, and see what my dog thinks of it.

    My angel is gone

So sorry to hear of your loss, it's never easy when we lose our furkids. Know that here, at least, people understand what you're going through.

    Onerous grooming with sheltie?

Hi Barb - I'm in the east end. I don't have a sheltie yet though, and am starting to think I won't be getting one. Patience definitely wearing thin. I also used the click/treat method to get my dogs used to the dremel that you described.

    I must be stopped!

If we're talking about the same breeder, and you want another male, DO IT! She's the breeder I've been waiting for since last August for a female; now she's waiting to "grow them out". I would grab one of those pups if she's willing to let him go. So, what are you going to name him?

    First Puppy Shopping Spree

Looks like the bubble blower we found last summer, but marketed for kids. The bubbles don't break when they hit the ground, and you can catch them on your hand. Unfortunately, they are very, very sticky (they break eventually, and leave a goopy spot). We won't be buying it again.

What is wrong with this dog (structurally)?

This is very informative - especially since I've been looking for a female AOAC to do some sports with - tyvm :smile2:

    The boys got groomed today.....

Nice looking feet, definitely. The boys must be very good, to stand so nicely for the grooming.

    Onerous grooming with sheltie?

I've got a grooming table already, as well as an electric trimmer and dremel, along with some coat conditioner, since I used to get my dobe girl ready for the show ring. Seems that I'll need a SLEW of brushes to tackle the sheltie coat. (for the dobe, a stripping stone, and a couple of brushes...

    Onerous grooming with sheltie?

I've been scanning the many posts about how long it takes to groom a sheltie, the tools required, "poop chutes" (how DO you put up with that, lol), and am wondering if grooming a sheltie is as onerous a task as it sounds. How often do you have to spend that 40-45 min. on your dog? Does it...
