I happened to stumble upon one of your post and I noticed something funny... you have the same first name as I and you joined on my birthday.

Thanks for your pic comment on Deska. He went from no coat to fuzz ball at about 14mths old, but it was all undercoat, his outer coat really got longer around 3yrs old. I must admit the photo was done by someone else - I wish I could take such great action shots.

Ref therapy dog certification -- it's not hard, but the complications depend on what group you're certifying with. Delta Society is a bugbear; TDI (Therapy Dog International) is easier. I'm with a D.C. group called PAL -- People, Animals, Love. It's super-easy!!

I grew up in Pennsylvania but now live in Alabama. I was in Newfoundland for a conference.
