We took in a 4 year old female that came from a disabled owner who could not take her out on a regular basis so all she knows are training pads. Some how I need to house train her. She will go potty if you take her outside but problem is she won't let you know when she needs to go. I don't know...

Thanks for the replies! Stool has been normal for past 2 days but she has gone as much as a week before an episode. My uneducated guess is that it is not Giardia because she does not have any of the other symptoms but I will have her checked just to be on the safe side.

I have a 3 year old female with a bowel problem. Every 2 or 3 days she has a loose bowel movement, not diarrhea more pudding or peanut butter consistancy. Strange part is the next movement will be perfectly formed normal movement. Nothing in her fodd seems to trigger it. She is fed dry "Blue"...

No when she poops outsides she does not do this. Also not every time inside, seems to be only when we do not see her poop. Almost impossible to watch her constantly...

My 5 month old Dixie is progressing on her potty training BUT if you don't watch her (inside only) she will pick up her little "Tootsie Roll" and want to play with it!!! The fun part is trying to take it away from her!!! What can I do???

Energy level=thru the roof!!! Only time she is still is when she is asleep! I have found that the best time to work with her is right after a nap, when she is semi calm. Always alerting on something, Outside she goes from bird,to leaf, to butterfly, to shadow, to airplane, never slows down...
