My dogs see them as torture tools too :smile2: when one gets put one the grooming table the other will come by and tease then they'll go hide in another room and hope i forget to do them :biggrin2: Both stand like rocks on the grooming table, but maybe I should try doing on my bed or somewhere...

Rawhides are banned in my house. I give bully sticks and raw bones instead. I've heard that rawhide can expand in their stomach and cause problems (especially if your dog is a persistent chewer like my schnauzer) If you go to your local butcher you can get good bones really cheap.

Well the title says it all. How do you train a puppy to lay on its side for grooming? I've had my puppy since september, and we hope to show him to his Ch. But we haven't got anywhere with him lying on his side for grooming. Any suggestions? How did you train your dog?
