We got home yesterday. Oberon was so happy to see Oreo! His tail wouldn't stop wagging and he kept sniffing where Oreo's surgery was and licking Oreo's head. The meds have been working so far -- Oreo is either asleep or quietly resting all the time. He and Oberon have not been play-fighting...

Just heard from the vet. Everything is fine and I can pick him up in a couple of hours. I'm bringing his suit and a diaper with me. Yes, keeping him calm will be a challenge - "calm" and "Oreo" do not belong in the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence! The vet did give us some pills...

I am so sorry to hear about your leg, but you'll pardon me if I cheer for Tully!!! She obviously decided you're the one you need to take care of now so she's trying to alleviate some of the worry you have about her. May the two of you continue to support each other.
