My husband runs with our 10-month-old Sammy every day. Sam loves it. He tends to react to cars when walking but is all business when he's running. Hubby ran daily with our large Lab/Setter all her life, and she lived for 14 years without a hint of joint trouble. Janet

Sammy here: Sounds yummy! I got me a big old beef bone with some meat left on it, but Mom claims I stole it from the neighbor dog! She made me apologize to the big scarey neighbor. He said I could keep the bone, though!

Oh, that is so nice! It sounds like you found a good dog park. In our neighborhood a lot of people bring their dogs to the local elementary school after school is out, and it's great. What makes the difference is people who care about their dogs' behavior and keep an eye on them at all times...
