Is it possible that she fractured a small bone? I'd see a vet if the pain continues after her few rest days.

Just a thought: since she's still a puppy, you might like to carry her for a short walk or just hanging out in the street with some neighbors. The "world" will seem less scary in your arms and she'll get used to the sounds and smells more easily. Carry a while, walk more.

The same thing happened to my Motek when he was about 5 years old. Don't know why it happened. It was so close to being ripped off, that I decided to pull it off gently. I didn't hurt him and he went back to playing with his brother. Admittedly it's very strange to see.

I have a similar problem with one of my guys. Shai goes crazy every time he sees another dog. Frankly I can't tell if he's being aggressive or wanting to play. I usually walk him around 6 am and 12 midnight. Since it's so quiet at these hours, I've been able to teach him to heel, which he does...
