My little sock thief!

Indie here....I love it when my hoo-man leaves the closet door just a bit open and I sneak in a do a panty or sock raid of the laundry basket. My hoo-man comes chasing after me, but I am too quick and we have a great time of playing chase me. I also have a personal favorite of picking up flip-flop shoes and running with those. I like to toss them up in the air and shake them until they are dead:yes: I think they are dead anyhow...then my hoo-man tries to put them on their paws and suddenly they come back to life....what's with that??????

I dropped a sock out of the laundry basket the other day- sure enough, next thing I know, Dixie has it and is heading for the back door. I did get her to drop it before she made it outside :wink2:
 
April LOVES socks! Especially with me still in them. I'll be walking down the hall, and she'll come running up behind me, and nip at the socks, trying to grab a toe. When I get seated I'll a) let her pull if the sock is close to the end of it's life, or b) stop her if it's a new pair. When she gets pulling, I usually have to help it around the heel somewhat, but the rest is her. Then she'll go running off through the place with my sweaty old sock hanging, and me chasing her a few feet behind. Great fun!
 
All my dogs love the socks. The other night, I wondered what Emma and Liam were playing tug with, and it was a sock I had just taken off in the bedroom. Dad lost a pair of socks that he wears to bed, and I found them under my bed where Liam had taken them.
 
My wife is bad for leaving socks on the floor, the other 2 pretty much leave them alone but The Pup Storm has taken to building her own private sock stash, we have found a couple of hiding spots around the house, so far she doesn't destroy them ,just puts them away for her personal enjoyment later.

Toffee used to do whta Lexi does.. the tiny holes...
He still does it on occasion but I have a bad habit of leaving laundry on the floor so he doesn't think it's special lol
 
Add Chase to the sock lover group. Every time I need a sock I find it in his pile. He doesn't destroy them more like he's just a collector. :lol:
 
color me lucky!

Gavin leaves shoes and socks alone..
but any stray paper towels or tissues are shredded the second my back is turned :D

I rescued my guys 2 years ago. The big guy,Shai, used to eat, yes eat my tennis socks. He grew out of that. Now his brother, Motek, has taken to shredding my panties -- particularly at the crotch. What is up with this?
