  • Hello Jan!

I have lost over 40 lbs since I got Daisy too...I was getting up there in weight, and it's another blessing...one of so many. Daisy is my pride and joy, as you can tell...

It is nice to hear from you again. Did you get swamped during the tropical storm? (Debby, I think). I love dobies....they are great dogs. I always thought I would have one some day...but living in small places, a sheltie is better suited to my needs. Plus now that I've had two, I will never have another breed. They are so sweet and smart and affectionate....

I am so appreciative that you pray for Daisy and me....I can add you to my prayer list too. I pray for Mike...he is such a special guy...so sensitive and tender-hearted towards the dogs. His videos are wonderful. Do you have any other children?

Anyway, that's it for now. I am happy to have a new pen pal! Take care, and God bless you!

Hi Beth Just got your message thanks for responding! I am trying to 'find my way" around sheltie nation and just found out how to get to my home page. duh!! Oh well. Michael sent me a pix of Daisy( fat and thin) What a miracle! And Cnn interview! wow you are so very special to have a gift from God such as Daisy. And I believe Daisy has a gift from God having you as her Mommy! I sent it off to a Christian friend who weighs 300 lbs and sees no hope for herself. I told her if Daisy could do it so could she. Her name is Liz and please pray for her that Gods will help her take of that weight. She is suffering greatly because of it. I will continue to pray for you and Daisy. Looking forward to hearing from you again love Jan Pritchard Clearwater Florida

Hi Beth and Daisy, Jan Pritchard here in Clearwater Fla. Just wanted you to know, Beth, abut the time of the anniversary of Annabells death, Michael told me you were having a difficult time. God has called me to do triathalon training and use it for spiritual warfare for Christians fighting battles. So I did a 45 mile victory ride for you. I got a flat tire too! But the testamony is this! Satan was not happy about the whole thing but he got defeated!! Because just a few blocks away was ABC Bike shop. I was 20 some miles away from home. Thats a long walk in the heat! So I called my husband, got the credit card number and they fixed my tire. I rode home in victory praying for you that day. Will continue to do so. Love Jan

Hi Beth, I am Jan, Mike Lamont's mom. Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know you and Daisy have been in my prayers. I do not have a sheltie but I do have a rescued Doberman who is 11 1/2 now--Bruda. We love her so much. I am glad you and Michael do encourage each other about your life and your shelties much love Jan
    I thank you, again.

Here, I believe he was watching a treat in my hand. He loves it when Daddy takes pictures, because treats are always involved! I will, also, pass this compliment on to Don, too.
Thanks Beth for the friend on Facebook. You’re so very special for adopting Daisy and I’m still amazing at her transformation. You’ve done wonders and I’m so glad she is in your care.

I reviewed some older posts and I was devastated when I read your older posts regarding your AnnaBelle. I’m so so very sorry. I know what it is to lose a heart dog… as I’ve been there recently losing my Muff Muff and also losing my Simona just nine months earlier. I know just how hard it is…as I’m here alone and they were my girls… I was so alone. But God is so good, and just like Daisy, for you, He opened new doors and two new sheltie rescues came into my life (Belle and Kristy). I will never forget Simona and Muff but Kristy and Belle have given me new life and hope… Hugs for Daisy and hang tight, God has a plan. Oh… and thanks for all the help in rescue… They’re not alone… this is what rescue is all about… the forgotten, the unwanted… We do make a difference!!!!
Thanks for the compliment on the picture! I think Nova rested her head there because it was warm. I was lucky to get that shot!
