We are home finally Sca finally pooped after holding it (well and pee also). He might of hid and got one off during the party otherwise he is back to his old ways of holding it forever waiting for his yard I stopped about 4 times on the way back and he was like nope I am good.
Downloading pictures (I have a lot less) and did some unloading but I think I am going to make sure the couch does not escape for a bit before doing much more
Yay on Jasper's new CGC title. Now, where did I read that they're going to actually make it a title?
Thanks for the pics Michele, everyone and dogs alike look like they are having so much fun. I'm just itching to see more.
(It would be really neat if we could get a whole SN gathering going, but I know we already discussed that and many of us would be traveling 12+ hours).
Home again, home again... Something tells me that many puppies will sleep soundly tonight.
Michele and Brian are the ultimate hosts. Kudos to them for doing this yet again. I loved meeting more sheltie folks and seeing "old" buddies AND seeing all of the dogs.
I have a few photos and will post them or post a link in the next few days.
My boys had a fantastic time! Thanks for being a good sport and accommodating an honorary sheltie (deagle bog). They were exhausted when we got back to the room and after a very light supper, zonked out. Mommy wasn't far behind... Daddy was on his own for dinner!
We made it back home around an hour ago. Took route 29 the whole way which made for a much more pleasant drive.
Can't wait to curl up with Sheltie Talk and a cup of tea.
We made it home! Annie Laurie would like to announce that she earned her Canine Good Citizen title at the Southern Sheltie Gathering!! Layla earned the Greta Garbo Award ("I vant to be left alone.").
Michele and Brian, you are just the best hosts ever! How can we ever thank you for giving everyone such a memorable day? I got to hug people I have loved for years -- yeah, Sheep, that's you, too! The food was just incredible (let's kidnap that Amish lady who makes the Bomb Pie!); Brian, you are a chicken cooking angel! Speaking of angels, the Starlight trio of Mia, Duncan and Watson were so beautiful!
I could just go on and on -- but the best of all was how much love and friendship we shared! I am so privileged to be a part of Sheltie Nation!
Yes, pictures are coming -- but here's a special one:
