3yr. old in HIGH KILL SHELTER IN CA.

Thanks for the update. The best scenario is sheltie rescue but going into a good home would also be good considering where the dog is right now. Your overseeing her is appreciated by us sheltie lovers. Did you mean a pair of stray shelties showed up at the hotel? Who has them? More guys to worry about. How do shelties become strays with no one looking for them?

No, not a hotel. Dogs Day Inn is the name of another San Bernardino County animal shelter in Apple Valley. They just posted the 2 shelties in theiir lost dogs section. So hopefully the owners will find them. They've been there since Sat., but the shelters were closed Sun. and Mon.

This is getting very complicated. I just had a call from the rescue. They aren't allowed to take him out until the public has had a chance to adopt him. So, Thursday is the first day he can be rescued by the sheltie rescue. We decided I should go get him in the morning if the other 2 people who have holds on him don't show up. Problem is .....he isn't nuetered. So, I would have to leave him at the shelter until they nuetered him and it would be better fof him to be nuetered by the rescue group. It looks like I will be going there in the morning to watch over his adoption and make sure if someone from the public gets him that they are a good home.

KEEP PRAYING GUYS!!!!! This is dicey..

Meanwhile...a pair of shelties has shown up at the Dogs Day Inn in Apple Valley.....OMG!

Haven't stopped praying, praying unceasingly at this end! I believe it will all work out. Thanks so much for what all you are doing and for all the updates.

Can you post that link for us? I've been searching, but can't seem to find them.

It's sbcounty.gov Animal care and control. Then you have to go to search for lost pets, before it will ask which shelter. Dogs Day Inn is one option. Search lost dogs by breed and they will come up.

Thanks for the update Dawn. God I pray he makes it out of there. he stole my heart when I first saw him on fb. Thanks again for all your hard work.

I finally got it to come up. Think it was my computer program holding me back. Sorry to see there's no pictures of them. I wonder where they were found..if it's in the general area of the first sheltie boy. I think it is rather odd to have three shelties picked up so close together. Hopefully SSR will pick all of them up. I'm betting they will, but I know we're all watching just in case ;-)..

Keep checking back...I'm hoping they will get pictures up soon. They seem kind of slow. I think those two should have been posted Saturday. The owners have probably been looking for them all week end! Hopefully.
