At 18 weeks today, Connor weighs in at 5.3lbs.
The vet checked him over, and he's back to full health, from a concussion

Think he might grow to a "normal" size?
 
that's about what my pup weighed at 8 weeks....
he's around 13.5 @ 17 weeks- will be getting new weight and height tomorrow at the vet's.
 
According to the Pow line weight chart, he's still on track to be undersize. He would have to be at least 7 lbs to be on track to be in size. I think height (from the withers) is a better indicator of size than weight, since some dogs can be fine boned. I wouldn't worry too much about size, especially if he's healthy.
 
Even if he is undersize, a lot of undersized shelties are extremely healthy, so aim for a healthy dog and no matter what you'll love him :biggrin2:.
 
Like everyone said, as long as he's happy and healthy, don't worry too much about his size.

My girl was 6.6 pounds at 16 weeks old. She is now 4 years old and weighs 14 pounds and is 13.5 inches tall.
