A continuing Sca-ga

So Sca spent the weekend at his vacation house (mom and dad's) this weekend while I froze at Barber Motorsports Park. There is some big dogs next door that are terrible and jump and lunge at people, Sca found them entertaining. He would make a run on the fence then circle back for a long time. There is a long haired weiner dog out back that wants to play but after a pass down the fence Sca circled while Rascal was ready to turn and go back instead. Dad played frisbee with him and mom claims he behaves better when I am not there. I told her it was that he had time to settle in. And of course Bear the Shiztu snubbed him all weekend.

But when I got there Sunday night to pick him up his tale about flung off from the wagging speed :biggrin2: Of course I was absolutely whipped but we did have to play 'some' when we got to the house

Tonight we go to get evaluated for agility class.

Of course he missed you!

And you shouldn't let your mom and dad say that he "behaves better" when you aren't home, you should just tell them that he "has more fun" when you ARE home! :wink2:

What does the agility evaluation entail? Sounds interesting.

HAHA! Like being snubbed a Shiztu would bother Sca!

Sounds like your parents enjoyed have a dog play with for a change.

Have fun at agility eval and don't try to be too dignified.

Actually it was when I was not there. When we walk over (they live about a mile away) he is happy to see everyone and has to scatter The Bear's toys so he is not on his best. About the time he is calming we are headed home.

The eval is no big deal. Just should we skip an obediance class before intro Agility. If he says no that is cool if he says go we might be starting in basic agility in a few weeks

He hates that The Bear is snubbing him as he is sure they should play.

Also:

When I got there he went crazy as I was talking to Mom and Dad. Well he had been playing all day so was tired and wound down sooner than I expected. So I am sitting on the couch and he plops down next to me and puts my wrist in his mouth. No bite, just to monitor that I was staying there

That's cute! He was just making sure

The guy said to sign him up in both and he would be fine regardless of which happens first. But I am having second thoughts :o For one they have a wait list that I have heard is an issue if I progress further.

First: I would rather pay more and get in than be in limbo.
Second: there seems to be more than a couple of people that are WAY high strung, the kind that YOU need to do everything THEY think NOW! Me and that personality tend to clash terribly (I tend to not be focused or serious). These are the folks that tend to say "your dog" and never add a please or thank you just demands.
Third: He kept talking prong collar

I did get one person that seemed nice thinking Sca would rock in flyball. Also the evaluator thought Sca was a Border Collie :eek2: I mean he is a bit large but.....
