A continuing Sca-ga

The mirror is SUBVERSIVE and Sca just KNOWS that if he relaxes for more than ONE SECOND that mirror dog will be in his real space, chewing his chewies and stealing love from his sheep!

I wish you had the magic formula! My forever pup was the same crazy with mirrors. I wished it worked on all pups - unfortunately the boys are oblivious.

On the way home we stopped and he was checking out mirror Sca before he even got home. The best part is that I think he believes Shelties are Sable (and himself) since that was all the breeder had. It might be my imagination but at the Sheltie party he acted different toward Newton, Abbie and Cranberry than he did to the Sable herd. So he might not connect the mirror with himself.

You know I was thinking yesterday that Kramer might not recognize sable shelties as the same as him either. He loves Diva and has right from the beginning. He also really likes Ember and Grizz, both of who are bi blue. He acts very different towards Pike(sable merle), Justice and Dannie(a girl)(sables).

Kramer's mom was a bi black and his littermates bi black and bi blue. His breeder only has blacks and blues(tri and bi).
 
Oh my, I'm exhausted just from watching that video!!! Cooper barks at his reflection in my sliding door. It cracks me up!
 
Emma discovered her picture on my computer desktop Friday and barked like crazy at it. She just couldn't figure out the other dog in the room. She is also fascinated with the glass front on the fireplace - I think because she can see herself. Noah just started at himself in the mirror. He just couldn't be bothered with the other dog.
 
Middle of the night and Sca wakes me up barking :mad: Well then I remembered Dad and my brother had the motorhome to go to some races and were coming in late. Well then I look at the clock 4AM!!!! Well he keeps barking so I figure he needs to go out and or I need to look. Sure enough I look and the motorhome and trailer are back. I am thinking sure they come start a loud pickup then bring the motorhome in and you are fine but still wake me at 4AM!!!!

Well today I call Mom and sure enough they got in at 4 AM but by the time I got rolled out and looked they had left.

So the lesson is Sca is a watchdog but I am not a morning sheep :o
