Today Sammy and I met a lovely Sable lady on our walk. In fact, she is the very one I saw several years ago when walking our aged Lab/Setter. When I met her I knew that I wanted our next dog to be a Sheltie. She was so gentle and well-behaved.
Hah! So somehow things got a little mixed up, and we ended up with the Tazmanian Devil in a Sheltie suit. My husband says I should have asked the lady what her dog was like as a puppy. But somehow I know, deep down inside, that that little Sable has never chased a car in her life, and a few other daily stress builders that I won't mention. So after a bit of a cry we will go on. Tomorrow we have another appointment with the trainer. Janet
