A letter from a dog " How could You ? "

I managed to talk the person at the petstore to let her go for a cheaper price . I told her that with the cost of the vets, shots and general upkeep ,I would love to have her but I couldn't afford the price so I left and came back the next day and began again, She called the owner and I got her for 300. I scoffed her up before they changed their mind and the rest is history. She got the care she needed the owner was made to feel guilty . By the way this one particular pet store does get their pups just from locals but thats not the point. No pup deserves to be treated that way. They now only do one or 2 pups at a time and during the day they are placed in an X- pen with cloth and toys on the floor and are actually taken out the back door to potty every now and again. Hey it's a start. I think they cringe everytime they see me.
Shelly and Saras Mom, I wouldn't be able to get rid of my Kia or any pet I have had. Unless I could find it a great home, where I knew it would be well cared for and a new forever home! God Bless these poor neglected pets.

im actually Shelly and sara's dad, lol but its ok i know there are more women then men here so easy to assume that. lol. my name is joe by the way!

OOPPSS!!! Sorry Joe!

That's what makes it hard when people don't use their name somewhere in the post.:uhoh: Actually Joe, we have a fair amount of men on the forum. So you're not alone.

Joe (now that you have a name!)

What a heart-wrenching story and thank you for sharing (you must be like Mike - one of those softer, gentler kinda guys!)

This brought tears to my eyes - not because of the sadness of the story, but because of how true it often is. I just don't understand the part of the human psyche that take and discard an animal's love (or for that matter, anyone's love) so callously.

And for that pup to stay waiting for him at Rainbow Bridge....bah! He doesn't deserve it.
