I am trying to contact sheltie rescues to pick him up so he has more time to find a home!
 
I still struggle as to how he got there. He is a fine looking fellow and once cleaned and brushed will even be better looking. Also he looks like he just wants a hug. 45 pounds is a a bunch but that could be fixed. People amaze me.

That's the first thing Lee asked when I showed him the picture, was "Why is he in a shelter? What's wrong with people?" He then looked at Oberon, invited him on the bed, and hugged him. We discussed the fact that 45 lbs was a lot, but without knowing how tall Bubba is, it's hard to say how much overweight he is. And besides, being overweight is usually a sign of being too loved. Would love to her the whole story.
