Advice on ears?

I unglue and re-glue Oliver's ears every week or two, when they start to loosen up. I'm looking for some feedback.

These are from when I unglued them last weekend. I'm fairly certain they were breaking too low, closer to halfway than a third of the way. I'm hoping this is fixable at this point (he'll be 4 months old on Sunday).

They're glued with the "break" up a bit higher now... but can someone tell me if I was right to do that? They looked funny from above, but from head-on they looked correct.

I glue them down, as well as together at the base.

Any thoughts? :smile2:

I do not show in the breed ring, so I am not really qualified to answer this question, BUT they look good to me.

I looked at the pics...its hard to see in some of them. How long where they unglued for in the pic? Alot of times they will look like that as soon as they are taken out and than they will creep up. If you have a pic with them done up I may be able to tell you better if its too high or low.

As far as age with setting them, you have some time. They usually are not set until a year or so.

I uploaded a few more pictures. The first few are of his old glue job, and the layer few are of the current glue job. His breeder had said to glue the "tip to the inner corner" of the ear. Before, I had the tip glued to the lower part of the inside corner (where the skull and ear meet). Currently, the tip is glued to the upper part of the inside corner. I hope that makes sense.

Gluin here

holly is going back to breeder this week to get her ears glued and for her to show me how to do it, because I'm clueless:confused2:

I just like the look of the ears pinned, I guess it's all about preference
