Affordable open tunnel?

Hi all,

I am looking for a tunnel to practice our training at home? Would like something long enough to emulate what we do in class with curve and s shapes.

Any places that have affordable tunnels?

Depends how "serious" you are. You can get lower quality (thin fabric, slick, shorter) for less than $100. You can check out affordableagility.com.

But, if it's something you want to last for a while, and if you're expecting your dog to blast through it, you're looking at over $200 no matter where you look.
 
Probably not what you are looking for, but I bought a child's play tunnel for my dogs a few years back. I think it was meant to connect little play tents. It was only straight, but was good enough for practicing agility in the back yard

Not sure if you are on Facebook but there is a group that sells used agility equipment from all over the USA.I sold two books on there a couple weeks that sold in less than 5 minutes so you may find something on there.
 
I have practice tunnels by Pac 'n Go agility. They are lightweight and come with a carry bag. The downside to them is they are like a giant spring so you really can't adjust how long they are. Overall, however, they hold up great and are easy to transport. (I actually have a tunnel and collapsed tunnel (chute) made by them and I'm really happy with them.)

What's the group called? I don't have any of my agility equipment I built anymore (had to get rid of it to make room), but after our big move is over I'll definitely want to get back into it.:yes:
 
Thanks all. This is great information. I am afraid that my guy is losing interesting with just the lame jumps I have at home compared to the killer playlet at the ring in practice. Need to keep his interest.

I would say to be careful about leaving your tunnel out in the weather if you order one from NTI. I have one, and it has not held up well to being outside at all. Dogs aren't kept in the same area as it and it hasn't seen heavy use, yet has developed holes.
