Hello!
I'm a proud new mommy of a beautiful sheltie girl, named CoCo Chanel. She is a Shaded Sable and has been my world since I got her. I dont know to much about the breed so I have been reading everythingI could and my husband suggested joining a forum :) so here I am. I will probably have tons of new questions and such about the breed. Hope to talke with you all soon!

Hi and welcome! I joined to learn more about shelties, too. I think you learn more from talking about them with people that's 'been there done that' than from reading a book (but I have done that, too)!
 
Hello and welcome! CoCo is adorable - just like a little teddy bear! You will get tons of great information here about shelties! They are the best (no bias here :lol:) and you will get addicted to this forum too, so watch out. At first it starts of checking it once or twice a day, then three, then four etc. :biggrin2:

Coco is so cute! You will have so much fun discovering how special shelties are. They have their own uniqueness- which I'm sure you have already found out. This is a great group of sheltie lovers, enjoy!

I know you'll love it here. This is a great bunch of people who are really educated about Shelties. We have people who can advise you on just about any problem or just chat with .:biggrin2: Enjoy and thanks for sharing the pics of Coco. Great looking pup!!:wink2:

Welcome, you will love it here! We all just love to give advice - and sometimes we even agree! :wink2:

As for books, if you get anyone at all you should have "Sheltie Talk". I think it's out of print (but you can still find it used on Amazon) but I heard somewhere it may be reprinted soon. Also, "The Illustrated Guide to Sheltie Grooming" by Barb Ross. My bible!

Coco is a sweet, sweet girl! Love the name!
 
Welcome! What cute markings on your girl! You will have lots of fun here--but be warned! It is VERY addicting!
