You are so right. If you go to "my girls gallery" linking off Aeriel's photo you will see Enga who established the love for Shelties into our life. Not the first paw print in our life but a special association for the breed and the first Sheltie paw print.

We have had 3 Shelties in our life now and all 3 have been very special and took a piece of us with them when they died. It does not get any easier, in actuality I think it gets harder but the love is worth the pain.
 
Aaah, I am so, so sorry. She was a beautiful girl for sure (such a dainty face). I lost my Angel this spring and it still brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it, even tho' I've now got Bruisin' Bacca to fill the hole in my life.


btw - I could only find the one photo of Ariel - are there more? (although the rest of the photographs are fantastic, I'd love to talk to you about those as I've just taken photography up as my new hobby!)
