Asta has vestibular disease

Just thinking about Asta and wondering how she is getting on. Healing thoughts still being sent to her for a full recovery.

Thank you so much - it means a lot to me to have the SN folks' support! Asta made big improvements the first 4 days but now, it has leveled off. I do think she is getting a little bit better still, but she has a head tilt to the right and can't jump up on the bed without crashing. Her right front leg seems unsteady. But Trini said her dog took a full 7 weeks to return to normal so I'm trying not to be discouraged. She is happy, although a little more clingy than normal, eating well and thank God it's not a painful condition.

Just hard for me to see her having difficulties with formerly easy things. We're so hoping she makes a full recovery.

Thanks for asking and prayers are very appreciated. :hugs

Sharon, I know it's hard to see Asta not at 100%, but it's very encouraging that she is better. We're all thinking of her!

Could you buy a stool or a set of stairs for her to get on the bed? That way she can still do what she likes (jump on the bed) and maybe the confidence would help her as well.
