Too bad you can't cross reference threads because this one could fit under several.
Something I noticed about Sadie early on when she was a pup, was that the pads of her two middle toes on all of her feet are attached together on one end. They're attached at the point near the middle of her foot at the opposite end to where the nail is, and I'm not talking about the slight webbing that is normally between the toes.
Ginny, who is a half sister to Sadie, has the same attached toes, but not to the extent that Sadie does.
I find it to be a real pain in the rear for grooming purposes. Since I can't spread the toes all the way it can be hard to get all of the hair that grows between them and also to shape the paw to get the cat feet look I like.
I also groom Milo, my parents sheltie and I find it much easier to trim his paws than my two. His paws are normal.
Does anyone else's sheltie have attached pads?
