I'm so glad I got Hadley out of that mess and the babies weren't born there. I'm guessing she really didn't know Hadley was pregnant or she definitely wouldn't of gotten rid of her!
Yep you had her pegged when she all of sudden got interested and concerned. She saw dollar signs. You know what probably happened she got the dog in a trade and then when she couldn't get it pregnant or so she thought, came to the conclusion she was spayed and placed her. Some people.

Hope you had a good time while in New Orleans.Something is more than fishy about this woman. There is something with the picture of that little Frenchie. It just doesn't look like it feels well though it could be just scared. Hadley and her puppies are so lucky to be out of there and in a home where they will be well taken care of.

Hopefully we'll find a little cuddle bug in the bunch and I can bring one home at around 8 weeks

Here's all the replies I've gotten off craigslist about this woman:
"Was there anything else wrong..we just got a dog from her...not only did she lie about what breed it was but she also has medical issues we have to take care of. She told us it looked like a english bulldog when she doesn't at all. the only reason we took her was cause we really didn't want to leave her in that house"

I'm pretty sure I know who this lady is. I went to her house to look at the coatis, but passed. I have her address if that is any help. I wasn't impressed with the health of the animals, she said she does a lot of rescues and breeds dogs, which is why I wasn't interested. I don't want you to harass her, but if this can be of help."
"Yes!!!! We bought a female Chihuahua (75.00) from her a while back. Lady claimed she had her shots but told us she would find the records and get back to us. The poor dog was covered and I mean covered in fleas. Also, had worms really bad and ended up at the vet 3 days after I bought her which cost me $350.00 JUST for the ivs of medicine and fluids they had to give her because she was so sick. I put something on craigslist about her back then and I'm sorry you had the same situation! SICK LADY!!! "
"I don't know if this is the same lady but the lady I bought a shih tzu from lives in Manor. Does she have tatoos up and down her arm? Does she live in Shadow Glen in a golf course area. Check out my CL's info on Chewie the Shih Tzu. She said he was four and had his shots etc but couldn't find the vet info. I took him to my vet and he is more like eight years, not nuetered, needs all his teeth pulled and has a heart murmur. He acted like a puppy mill dog! I absolutely adored him but turned him over to a rescue because I simply couldn't afford thousands of dollars. I felt like I was left to make the decision she didn't put him down or get him help. Sorry you had a bad experience."
This is awful! I've emailed from French Bulldog rescue people to see if they can get involved since she currently has a batch of them.
