Baker says hello!

I cry easily. I think I have cried when meeting every one of my dogs. Except Hol. She was my husband's dog.

I can't wait to see the two of these as they grow up! Cubby is in some spaz phase right now. Silly puppy.
 
Aww he's beyond cute!! He has a little teddy bear face. Congratulations! So glad the wait is finally over for you.

I am glad you got Baker and not a littermate. He's just so kissable.

Thanks - he IS a keeper, for sure. At first I was leaning towards the boys with blazes, but am so happy Baker made the decision.

I am surprised at how tiny he is. I'll have to take some pics today where his size is more obvious, next to a water bottle or something. When we picked him up the breeder had one of the other boys also bathed & ready to meet a new owner. Their size difference was even more profound than at 6 weeks.

He crated himself around 9pm last night. (He also ran to his crate when a noise on the TV frightened him). I am so happy that he knows that's his safe place. Unfortunately he peed overnight. If he did try to tell us he wasn't very loud - we are a couple rooms away but I sleep light. I got up at 5 to see if he was awake - not a peep. At 5:30 I told hubby I couldn't believe he was still sleeping. So I lifted the cover & there he was - looking at me! Went outside & peed right away, so the accident happened sometime during the night.

Did I mention that I am NOT a morning person? :dead:
 
Jade is 13 weeks old and She couldn't hold it through the night until a week ago! She still can't hold it while I'm at work. She is getting better. I'm so thankful that I don't have that morning mess to clean up. I'm not a morning person either!!
 
We are going out 1-2 times a night, usually 2 times. Cubby can wake me up but we have an open loft room and the sound bounces of the peak above the bedroom and the tiniest sound sounds really huge up there.

I noticed in the pic he looked like a little guy, as opposed to Mr. Cub-normous. Cute cute cute though!
 
What a darling wee boy!! He is really a cutie and looks like he's going to be lots of fun! So happy for you!

OMG- can you say Cute?? He is such a cutie pie....thanks for the pics & yes he does look small next to te water bottle :-o
