Baths

Minnie has the most beautiful beach, but do not like the water.

She can pick up a stick if not farther out than she can reach it - and she can be very,very long- without to get water on her stomach.
If it is farther out, she stands barking, barking till I go out and get it into the beach again..

Never blocked, Lil' Lady loves her bath. The only thing she does after my bath, she wipes her body off on the towel that I
hang up. Maybe she is telling me I want a bath too. When I do give her a bath, its hard getting her wet since she has a
coarse heavy coat, and it takes time to get the soap out. She is so patient with the entire ordeal. Thank goodness.
Lil' Lady has me trained with most other things.

I seldom take baths (that will change as the weather gets colder..) but Maddie gets fairly displeased and unhappy when I stand in the water box (i.e. take a shower). So I've taken to shutting her out of the bathroom when I shower. She mashes herself against the bathroom door and gives me the disappointed stinkeye when I open the door.

Otherwise, I am not allowed in the bathroom unsupervised. If the scary cat gets in before her (he also supervises me in the bathroom) then she waits until he gets up on the counter, then she also comes in. I am never unsupervised, and am often doubly supervised.
