Thank you all for the encouraging messages. Now that almost four weeks haves passed since her surgery, she seems to have calmed down quite a bit. She no longer urinates when being nervous. I’m pretty sure her urination in the house during the first two weeks wasn’t due to incontinence because she only did it when she was nervous. She does have a new behavior - lying down with her belly shown and let us rub her belly. Not sure this is a submissive or affectionate behavior but we actually like it.
Thinking back, it was a traumatic experience for her. The clinic I took her was a new one far from home and she was left there for the whole day for the surgery. I chose that clinic because the doctor there does endoscopic spay while no vet close to my home does it. She might have thought she was abandoned during the long hours there alone.
