Best Food For Shelties in the USA?

Fromm Small Breed is out of the mix so now it's a choice between Fromm Adult (black bag) and a newer product called Fromm Ancient Grain Adult.

I have Brodie and Kooper on Fromm Adult - not sure about the Ancient Grains. I got the email when it came out, looked at the ingredients. Have to buy food this week but still not sure on switching. It has a bit lower calories but 1% higher protein. Sometimes I'm of the 'if it's not broke, don't fix it' mind. This is what I received when I questioned the difference in the two.. "The main difference between the Adult Ancient Gold and the Adult Gold is the inclusion of ancient grains for the Ancient Adult. This new chicken based recipe contains whole grain goodness with a variety of high quality ancient grains such as Sorghum, Barley, Oats, Buckwheat, Spelt, Millet, and Quinoa that offer nutritional diversity. This recipe contains duck, lamb and vegetables as well." I haven't gone through and compared the ingredient list item by item as my printer is broke.

I will be transitioning Deacon over to Fromm Puppy - shame as I ended up with a huge bag of Pro Plan which is what the breeder had him but as with Brodie, he's not diving in to the food - picks away at it. Growing fine, just think he'll end up on Fromm Puppy. He goes crazy trying to butt in to Brodie's food dish but probably more cuz he's the little brother and that's just what he does....

Kooper will be transitioning to their senior line - hoping it is a little friendlier to his troubled kidneys.
