Boarding versus Sitter

I've taken them to a kennel twice, and both times they were perfect when I picked them up. Sure their week wasn't as fun as if they were home - but I picked them up in the same condition i dropped them off, and that is what is most important to me. But I HATED dropping them off and plan on taking them with us for our next beach trip. Shelties on a beach - should be fun!
 
Indy loves all of the kids in the neighborhood and spends a good deal of time herding them all, not just our kids. When we go on vacation, he just goes to our neighbor's home and acts like their home and their kids are his. He seems to enjoy his vacations as much as we enjoy ours.
