Casey left us this morning

Our Sweet Casey Lou started to cough on Saturday. It was a horrible weekend where he got better, then much, much worse. I put him in the car first thing this morning, but he took his last breath in front of me as I opened the back door to get him out of the car in the parking lot of the vet. There are so many memories of this goofy, sweet wonderful animal. He is so special that he once helped a man in a coma respond. I just can't believe how fast this happened. We went for a long walk Friday. We went to his favorite Pet store on Saturday and made a couple fall for shelties. He was a prime example of his breed. And in less than 30 hours, he was gone.

I am so very sorry for your loss, they really are only on loan from heaven for what seems so short. Try to focus on the joy Casey brought to you. Nothing eases the loss but time, and then it just ebbs a bit. They are the absolute best pets!

I am so sorry for your loss. No matter how many pets we own, or own us, it will never get any easier losing them. They are family and it hurts. Only time dulls the ache a little but it can take some time to even get to that point. Hang in there and keep trying to remember all of the good times and the wonderful life you gave Casey.

I'm so sorry to hear this. He was a wonderful boy and he brought so much to your life and the lives of others.

I am really sorry to hear about your loss of your sweet boy Casey Lou - I know how it hurts in your heart - I really feel with you :hugs

I'm so sorry from the bottom of my heart. I do understand how this suddenness feels, we went through the same with Asta. It is so heartbreaking. Dear Casey Lou is beyond pain and sorrow and discovering the joys of the Rainbow Bridge where he will patiently wait for your reunion. I do truly believe this. :hugs
