Our new Sheltie from Starlight Shelties of Houston is here. Male Blue Merle Chakka. He has a rambunctious character so far and loves to play. He is 8 weeks old. He is a nipper right now but hopefully we "nip" it in the bud.:biggrin2: With the recent passing of my Jillybean I am very sad and melancholy and my husband suggested getting a puppy. Although he supposedly got him for me we all think of Chakka as my husband's dog because Chakka follows Aaron everywhere, even the bathroom. My current most popular phrase is "Jillybean used to do that" This puppy has helped me come out of my depression already and really remember Jillybean the way she would have wanted me too. It still hurts a lot but it is a little better every day.

What a cutie! and he looks to be so gentle and calm with your little one (also a big time cutie!). I am sure they will grow up to be great buddies. Congratulations!
 
You are correct, in that your "Jillybean" would not want you to be depressed.

I am glad the puppy is helping in this department. Puppies (or another sheltie) have a way of doing that, without even trying.


ps Both your little ones are precious. They look like great buddies already.

Beautiful sheltie, love the coat. Your baby is darling, love that head of hair. WOW on both. Thanks for sharing they are going to be the best of pals, so very cute together.
