Thank you. I agree, he does show me that kind of look at times, and to be sure, I am sure he loves me. I will do as you suggest, I will see how it goes at the training classes, I suspect it will be good.

I do love Laddie, and I sure would never do anything to hurt his little feelings. I know how sensitive shelties are, and to get another one, would not be fair at this point.

I sure do appreciate all your kind remarks, they mean a lot to me.:hugs
 
You are very welcome. I have been there. Agonizing if one is enough or should there be two for a number of reasons, how would #1 feel IF there were a #2, and on and on.

I just know with my delightfult buddy Mayson, I held him off a bit for about 4 or 5 month until this lady truly made me take a look.

With my new little girl, I let myself see it and the classes really are helping us focus on each other and bond.

Just remind yourself to give both him and yourself credit and let it happen. Hugs to you and your little one.
 
Our school starts next Tuesday, I go alone the first time, they will tell me what to bring and other policies, etc. I am sort of nervous. I am sure it will be fine, I just have never gone to "doggie school" before.

I think I know what you mean about that "look". Today, I was very sad, and scared, so, I made an appointment at our local clinic to rule out anything serious. He focused on me with those big Sheltie eyes and licked my tears away. The visit went well, no heart issues, so I was happy, he picked up on it and was hoping around, and growling playing with the kitty. Man, they are sensitive.

Once you work on teamwork in school, the time practicing each day, AND when you remind yourself that love is far more than liking to be petted by strangers and being happy to see your husband too ... I bet your little boy is the dearest little guy ever. Be proud how happy he is with people and that will help in doggy school too.

Have FUN with doggy school. Laugh and praise the dog and just enjoy the time together. I was nervous the first time and the dog felt it. This girl I am just laughing and having a good time and so is she. Next spring I will make my decision whether I want to train for rally, now, it's all good. It's all bonding.
