Considering new sheltie- look into your rescue.

We got our puppy from CISR on Dec 22nd. Draco is now 13 weeks old and is adjusting very well to our home. His sheltie sister Izzie who is five years old absolutely loves him! They spend a great deal of time chasing each other around the house and in the backyard. Should have added another sheltie a lot sooner :). CISR did a great job socializing the litter. We are very fortunate to have adopted such a great pup! Will post pics soon!
 
There are reasons.

Rescues do have their reasons and myself for example would be really bad if I did not have a fenced solid enclosure at my home. An urban area with busy streets two blocks away etc.

Use some critical thinking people and be responsible and do not ever look down upon rescue groups.

Have you ever fostered a dog? Have you ever transported a dog? Have you ever adopted a dog and had to return the poor stressed out animal? Cmon think!
