Cooper's New Chew Toy

My clothes hamper finally died. It was ten years old, and the top just disintegrated. So, yesterday, I went out and bought a new one that was plastic fake wicker. The hamper has to live in the hallway, so it needs to be a fairly nice one. So, I spent $50 on it and brought it home- YESTERDAY. Last night, Cooper chewed holes through two sides. Since he also chewed the corner of my great-grandmother's cedar chest, we are not very happy with Cooper right now.

Naughty Cooper....but Kaleigh wants to be his defense attorney and plead the "no intent" plea. She wants you to see it from his point of view. He can't go outside, he has pent up energy that needs to be dispersed and he lives with lasses, that when it is hot they get weird, and he has no outlet from the divas. He has no malice towards laundry hampers. He doesn't remember any protocol discussed on whether or not the big plastic thing wasn't actually purchased as a giant chew toy. Kaleigh says she is positive being new in the household the rules were unclear in this instance.

That is a lucid, intelligent, well thought-out objection Kaleigh. Kupo isn't old enough to need a defense attorney yet, but wonders if you will be taking on new clients when the time comes.
