Crazy Time...Is this all shelties??

we are cultivating zoomie free house atmosphere... house equals good tired sheltie, zoomies equals "need to go for looong walk"... but yeah, watching them tearing up 3 acres of pooch park at 6 am is impressive:lol:

Wonderful world of sheltie Zoomies. Zak still gets them and yesterday I could hear him running and juming on the couch and off then on. Love it when he has so much fun.

Zoomies, ABCD's (AbsolutelyBerserkCrackerDog) whatever they're called, are a hoot to watch. April, the quietest, mildest little lady you can imagine, will tear around if you push the right buttons. And Dad knows the right ones to push.

I find with two Shelties, I have less zoomies and more all round raucus play.

But Bacca still loves to chase his tail. He does it at least once per day. It's so silly I have to laugh, and when he's done, he even seems to be kinda embarrassed by it. He kinda slinks away, looking over his shoulder, as if to say "Gee, I sure hope noone was watching that!)

I love watching the zoomies and try to stay out of the way. Miko doesn't do it anymore (but then, he'll be 13 this year), but Koji still does it. Almost once a night, but usually while the two of them are playing. At some point, Koji just starts tearing through the house. I loved it better when we had stairs, he'd bounce off them like a backboard.

It's very typical. Just get out of the way and have a good laugh....or grab a video camera.

My boys usually have an episode a day at least of zoomies, but when they happen at my house it is x 2. I have no idea how they do not bump into each other when they are in full run. But yes, stay out of the way otherwise you may get injured!

Grizz who turns 2yrs in May just got them last night. He, Bock, Porter, Jamie and Cassie were playing and suddenly Grizz took off round and round he went as fast as his bi blue butt would go. The others went crazy and a sheltie zoomie frenzy occured. Wish I would have had my video camera.
