Crazy!

I think I may have posted about the crazy lady who rents a community garden plot before... Once she actually waved a machete in my face as I walked Indy and Bacca in front of her plot, while she screamed "no dogs allowed". I did confirm with the city that dogs were allowed and kept telling her so.

I had not seen her for many weeks and thought that finally she moved on. Nope! Took the dogs out on a walk. Callan on a flexi leash. Indy loose but behaving and staying on path. This same crazy woman now says I'm a vampire and my dogs are my familiars! No joke! This woman has to go!!!!! And obviously needs help.

I guess I need to contact the city about her. Again. I think she is no longer a danger to myself but a danger to herself. So sad

She sounds a bit schizo to me. Definitely contact the authorities, and carry pepper spray or something to ward her off, in the event she becomes something more than just an annoyance.

There was a woman in Hamilton, several years ago, that displayed this type of behaviour believing that her neighbours had taken her son and put his soul into that of their son. One day, while a young girl was taking this little boy - I think he was about 3 years old - for a wagon ride, the crazy neighbour attacked the little boy with a knife and stabbed him to death. You must be very careful and not laugh off or otherwise make little of the situation. Please alert authorities today.

OK, you guys are both killing me with laughter (stakes through the heart) and scaring me!

I always assumed that I could just run away from her if it got bad. I did try to report her before but had no success getting response. Her "neighbours" are on to her and offer some protection, but they aren't always there.

Then she seemed to be gone, but now back again. I guess I will need to escalate again.

I think I heard if you wear a necklace made of garlic that might help. Also show a big cross in her face. A restraining order would be good, she would have to stay
how many feet away from you. That lady is cracked or she is on it.

BEWARE, stay safe!

The craziness continues....

Oh, she's back again! Couple of days ago, I walked by her, and she started screaming "you have to die!" I just gave her the hand and walked on.....So I'm vampire and now I have to die! And Halloween is coming up. I don't think I'll be walking my dogs anywhere near for a few days.

I have not reported her yet. We just went through municipal elections this week. The previous city councillour retired. I now have a new one that I have to train! LOL!

Please, be careful and try to be far away from that person, I think she's really dangerous.......

You have to give that information to the police, she could do something to someone else, but not to you if you try not to see her again....really scary!!:uhoh:

That is a little scary. Instead of calling the police about her threats, can they maybe do a wellness check on her?:confused2:

I think that would come across better to her than getting the police coming to arrest her for death threats..though, I think I would personally feel a lite bit more safe that route!

I'm steering clear and just giving a few days for things to settle out after the municipal elections. I actually get her issue if what she is experiencing what I have....loose dogs uncontrolled.

Believe me, I want some clarity here. I'm so freaking tired of loose dogs charging my fence and the owners walking by oblvious. I sit outside with my dogs, and when Indy starts to do his fence I try to reign him in. Hard to do when these dogs are aggressively charging my fence.

I always have Indy going ape because of the husky or the boxer running up and down the fence line, and I was outside, and the owner waved and said "Hi there!" ARE YOU NUTS! I yell at them to control their dog. Of course, they don't These dogs should not be off leash ever.

Now I get where the crazy lady is coming from....though I don't think I deserve to die, and neither am I a vampire. But if these dogs to this to my property, I can only imagine for someone with fear of dogs, how they would react.

I'm struggling with how to proceed. 80% of the dog walkers are diligent and their dogs well trained. Its the other 20% that are the concern. If I escalate this too far, this could become a no dog zone entirely. I don't want that. And I would love to keep it off leash, if only people would control their freaking dogs.

Ok, whine finished for tonight. Will think about more contructive approaches going forward.......
