Time is flying and Cruz has been busy this past month! We just got home from a 2-week trip to Toronto. Cruz loved being a city dog - meeting new friends wherever we went, going into dog friendly malls, etc. It was great exposure and he traveled really well!
We are just over a month into agility foundations.. I think my boy has found his calling! He is FAST, and loving all the running, spinning, and wrapping we are doing. The only obstacles we have introduced so far are the tunnel (his absolute favourite) and the table. This week we are going to introduce contacts. I am loving all the learning, and even more so when I see the light bulb go off and he just gets something. Now if only mom could keep up!
Alongside agility, we have been busy in a CGN (CGC) class. This is definitely not Cruz's favourite, but he does it for me.. or the cookies. I'm hoping to get a CGN on him by the end of the year. On top of all of this, we hike 1-2 times a week and also attend a drop in "proofing" session each week. It is run by local dog owners and everyone comes and works on their own thing while various distractions are going on - great for focus! Yes, we are busy but it keeps this busy boy happy and out of trouble.
And of course, photos!
