Cushing disease

Candy franklin

No matter what disease your dogs have, do your reading, there are disease in shelties that are more common then most dogs and your docter is a doctor for all breeds and not in shelties. Uncortunetely they don't do there homework either, you think they would do a little reading on shelties to see there weak spots, but they don't. I talk to nreeder, and shelties rescue, and even read books because my fuy has pancreatitus, gall bladder and now hypothroidism, which was found because i insisted on an extensive thyroid panel that also showed infection. Vets are people. If they dn't work with u then move on. I also work with a holistic nitritionist because max developed an awful smell which he had when we rescued him. When it co es to Max i never stop, but i'm also semi retired so i can. If there is anything i can do just ask. Good luck, these are prescious dogs we have. He is only my second, but i would do anything for him.
