Did Shelties Call For Snow On East Coast?

I just can't get over it, here comes Sandy, then this snow. Now we all know shelties love snow, but this is horrid.

Hopefully those affected have electric, food, water.

yes what a surprise! We were supposed to get rain, however SURPRISE! Snow!!!!!!! Not that much of it, only about 2" but still!!!!!!! The winds are actually the same here as we had with Sandy...however our lights keep flickering im thinking it has to do with the weight of snow on the trees still with leaves...ugh..dont lose power! Its too cold!!!

Linda I could not believe my eyes when I turned on the news. They said some sections will get 6" of snow.

Talk about power, they were giving out a site for help on a computer. Well if someone doesn't have power how can that happen? The only ones I could think of that would love that snow are the shelties, not that wind though.

I feel so bad for everyone, its just unreal, like a bad nightmare.

STAY SAFE, praying your power remains on.

Diego's happy. He has about 2" here, but it will all melt away later on. I'll throw some snowballs at him a little later before it goes away.

We were the lucky recipients of that 6 inches, although it feels like I've shoveled a foot. The good news is we can't see all the branches and debris we haven't cleaned up yet from the hurricane. :rolleyes2: And the pups are back to enjoying snow snacks and romping around like puppies. Love it!

The forecast here for the weekend is 60s for several days. Go figure!

We were supposed to get a little bit last night but it seems like it was all rain. I was kind of hoping for snow, I really want to see how Olive will react (she's already confused by falling leaves in fall and it being cold in October/November).

Please send some of your cold weather down here... I think they said the high today was 80.

My dog was very happy to see snow! It was coming down heavy when I walked her last night. She would walk normally and then all of a sudden start pouncing and jumping in the air to catch the snow flakes. Our normal 10 minute walk turned into 20 mins, but she was having a blast.
