TWO DOGS: We use to have 2 greyhounds & fostered others. Sometimes 4 dogs in the house still felt like 2 bc it was a good mix. Other times just 1 additional dog brought chaos. A trial period is a great idea.
FOR SHELTIE PANTING: We purchased a canvas covered rectangular pool raft, put it on the living room floor & filled it with water. Once our sheltie got use to the bed, it became her favorite dog bed. We just had her groomed for the 1st time bc we're heading for AZ from MI. I don't see any panting improvement so the water bed is coming.
