My Kelsey (rainbow bridge) used to do that all the time but my kids don't do that here anymore. I have to crate the dogs to feed them. Some are on special diets, some get meds in their food and mine are on home cooked food so to make sure everyone gets what they are supposed to or doesn't get what they shouldn't have I put them all in crates to feed them.
