You will be glad to know Jessica has resigned as my cameraperson in favour of dog sitting while I'm running, so I am back to recruiting innocent bystanders and now I get the whole round filmed  Some have even discovered the zoom!

(I was so surprised he got the tunnel discrimination on this one I made a real hash of the rest of the round! :rolleyes2: Note to self - plan to succeed!)

We've had a few placings and a win (no video typically!) recently so it is all starting to come together but I've had some runs where we were eliminated but I've been really delighted with how the run in general went. Still masses of room for improvement though, especially from me as one day I hope to look less like a jerky puppet and I have promised Epic that I will make every effort not to forget the course in future!

Great work both of you! Thanks for sharing. I'm just starting out, and I dream of the day when I can get my dog to weave the way Epic does in that 2nd last video!

I just love watching Epic's weaves, they are so gorgeous. I see lots of nice stuff from both you and him, and his confidence has definitely improved. That course where you had to do two tunnels in a row was interesting! Sparrow would be in heaven!

And look at the glorious weather you have had! I have been rained on nearly every weekend in June and July:ick I am so hoping I get nice weather this weekend as it will be my first agility competition in 8 weeks. I am actually feeling a little nervous because I am out of the swing of things, lol!

Are you going to DINAS? I have booked Merlin for the Wednesday, but I don't know anybody else who is going and might chicken out, because someone told me it is huge with lots of rings!

Epic looks really good. I'm gald you posted this. I can get a better idea what I will be getting myself into in the future with Cleo.

That was the Steeplechase and it was so much fun to run! Normally I can take or leave Steeplechases because they can be quite dull but this was a great way to finish. We actually finished 7th in spite of him going in the wrong direction the second time through, but they only placed to 6th. The same day he also finished 4th in the Agility but the places only went to 3rd!

Yes the weather has been wonderful but it had to end sometime and unfortunately it did in spectacular fashion by pouring with rain for a good couple of hours during last Sunday's show. Such a pity because the event was superbly organised (it was an independent one put on by a local village). We had to sit in our cars and race to and from the food tent because it was too bad to run in but it cleared up eventually and at least I know that the Goretex and grippy soles of my new trail shoes really do work. :wink2: Fingers crossed for this weekend or there will be more venue envy of those amazing facilities we keep admiring!!

And yes - all being well I will be at DINAS with everyone - Jessica and all three dogs. It will be so cool that we will finally get to meet up so please do come! Everyone tells me it is a really friendly and fun show and the idea of just so much agility blew me away.
I've booked for the whole week but after last year's massive disappointment over the KC International I'm terrified something will prevent me going. :fl I've been making long lists of what to take already. I've also booked to do a handling course with Lauren Langman on Thursday which I'm really looking forward to.

the weather here is looking good for the weekend. Just been helping set up the competition rings this afternoon, and I am a scrime both days, which is good, but I worry about writing someone's time down wrong! Hope you get good weather too.

And it will be great to see you at DINAS! :biggrin2:
