Hi, I haven't been on here in a long time. I wanted to share that my 11 year old sheltie girl named Bonita came through surgery amazingly well and her recovery was faster than the surgeon and our vet expected. She had one large stone that blocked her urethra. She had surgery the same day ($$$ but worth it). She is now on SO urinary food for life. I was told this is the 2nd time our vet had come across this in a female in over 30 years of practice. Thought I'd share in case this can help someone else.
