Finnie and his toys!

It took Sheltie number 6, Mr. Smarty Pants Eli to make use of all the toys in the toy box. None of our girls were that into toys, although the Skineez toy did get a little play. Eli loves to tease Faith with a toy, too, and it works! I've caught her playing tug with him. The "keep away" game is the best though. It is really fun to watch them entertain themselves this way. Oh, and the really annoying toys some friends bought over the years - a pig that oinks, a monkey that screeches and a rooster that crows? They can now be heard all over the house, multiple times!!

The only toy Asta and Ally played with was an old pair of socks knotted together - and then they only wanted to play tug with us, not each other!

Destin was just doing that to Jocu- had the toy and was prancing around- then it turned into the wrestling match:winkgrin:
You under estimate his evil. It is not play with me that can happen any time. It is look at this toy oops I dropped it don't you want it. Then shark in on petting, my lap or whatever else Angus had.

We have a well used Mr. Bill doll that yells "Oh NO" every time someone bites the right spot. That's the most annoying toy. But my mom thought it was funny and so do the dogs. Annabelle loves to squeak anything with a squeaker. Cooper plays with balls. Any kind or size ball. He'll bounce them for himself then run after them. But Tara is the funniest. She has a penguin and a - well it's either a bear or a tailless monkey I don't really know- she takes turns with these. They come to bed with her. They get tugged on. They get placed lovingly into pet beds. Sometimes I think they are bad, because she'll put them into a pet bed, but then she flips them around until they are face down. Other times, they are placed face up. And she arranges them, so it isn't "just how they land." My hubby was saying they're her babies, and at that point, she took one and started to shake it back and forth brutally. My stepson and I were laughing saying, "I hope that isn't how she'd treat her baby." Clarabelle and Rocket will play with any toy available, but they'd really rather just wrestle each other. Although Rocket will tug.

That's too funny Sheep and oh so true...you put into words exactly what Finnie does to Piper and I'm sure what many of our dogs do to each other:ROFLMAO:

My first girl had maybe two or three toys she truly loved, minus her Kong. My boy now? OBSESSED WITH TOYS. It's such a different experience second time around, because he's really into chew toys. He especially loves to pull every toy out of his toy box, scatter them around the house and check on them throughout the day, just to make sure they're there and still his. All I can compare it to are the seagulls from "Finding Nemo," who constantly are screaming, "Mine, mine, mine!"

I still have toy boxes full of her old toys, ones she didn't care for at all, that I plan to "recycle" in the future. He's got a thing for stuffed animals, and he's already adopted a small one of mine.

Did you ever see Donny the Doberman that arranges his toys? Tara kinda sounds like him!

A border collie named Chaser has learned the names of 1,022 individual items — more than any other animal, even the legendary Alex the parrot.

MINE. ALL MINE
Chaser the border collie's head can be seen at the top of her mountain of toys. She can identify each toy — all 1,022 of them — by name

Now that's a lot of toys!!! My sister probably has over 200 dog toys (she's forever buying toys for her 2 dogs and now subscribes to something where she gets a toy and treats every month! Of course my sister also spends 100$ at Christmas on her dogs lol. Mine are lucky to get ANYTHING at Christmas!
